Volunteer Opportunities
The Omaha Riverfront Jazz and Blues Volunteer Committee is no longer accepting applications for the 2008 festival. The committee would like to thank all of the volunteers for signing up and look forward to seeing you at the orientation and festival.
If you missed out on this year's volunteer opportunities and would like to sign up for next year, please send us an email with your name, email address and phone number to orjbfvolunteers@q.com. Your name will be added to the list of volunteers to be contacted for the 2009 Omaha Riverfront Jazz and Blues Festival. Thank you.
SAVE THE DATE!
Volunteer orientation will take place on Tuesday, July 1 and Wednesday, July 2 at 6:00 p.m. at the Lewis & Clark Landing (next to Rick's Boatyard). All volunteers are asked to attend one of the orientations.
VOLUNTEER POSITIONS
Beer/Wine Garden - Sell beer and mixed drinks, keep product stocked in coolers (must be 21 years or older)
Front Gate - Assist in taking tickets, wristbands,
Bag Check - Check purses and bags for prohibited items.
Festival Greeter - Greet patrons, hand out programs, provide information
Festival Set-up - Set-up VIP, tables, chairs, assist vendors and Management as needed.
Floater/Runner - Provide assistance in locations needed, backup all areas
Pepsi - Sell Pepsi products, keep product stocked in coolers
Chair Rental - Rent chairs to festival patrons, stack/move chairs as needed, assist in retrieving chairs from the grounds at the end of each day
Wells Blue Bunny - Sell ice cream products, keep product stocked
Media Check-in - Greet and assist members of the media, provide informational packets
